My kids have Leapsters instead of DSs or PS3s for the same reason. And I'm pretty strict with non-educational TV, too, because I just don't like the content. Dolls like this though, are kinda murky water. I'm not really worried they'll make her a Goth hooker, but they don't please me in the way I'm pleased when they choose art supplies. (Madelyn chose a huge bottle of pipe cleaners and pom poms. There's a lot to be said for a craft obsessed four year old...) I sure could use one of those instruction hand books that don't exist!Ms. Fluffypantshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02591017712597263035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8411036417832928588.post-73570596255998043832010-08-11T10:58:21.868-06:002010-08-11T10:58:21.868-06:00I think my views maybe a little different than oth...I think my views maybe a little different than others who sent you messages. I am a firm believer to stand for what you believe and the messages that are sent to our children through movies, games, and toys. Up until this last Christmas we didn't have any form of video games, but we allowed grandma to buy a DSI for him for christmas, but because we've never had them he doesn't really play it alot unless we go on trips, he then plays in the car. <br />I too hat the Bratz dolls and would never buy them because of the clothes they wear. Think with in yourself and what messages you want your kids to get from it. Maybe help her make some cute clothes for the doll that are more modest, it's not really about the clothes to the kids its about the vampire and teeth. Good luck, too bad our kids didn't come with hand books when they were born!!!Daynenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05079776511992637401noreply@blogger.com
